Rules and Regulations for Delegate Registration to Attend AIFF-26 in Ahmedabad
Terms and condition for 2026
1. Registration Categories
• Attendee Registration: Open to filmmakers or individuals who have not participated in the festival. Attendees must pay for their own hospitality and logistics.
• Delegate Registration: Open to filmmakers whose films have participated in or been nominated for the festival.
2. Financial Commitments (New for 2026)
AIFF-26 operates on a self-funded model for all participants.
• No Covered Expenses: The festival will not provide or pay for accommodation, meals (Hi-Tea, Dinner), or internal logistics (Pick-up & Drop) for any category of registrant, including nominated filmmakers.
• Total Responsibility: All travel, lodging, boarding, and miscellaneous costs are the sole responsibility of the participant.
• No Reimbursements: Requests for financial reimbursement for any reason will not be considered.
3. Film Submission & Participation
• Submission Policy: Once a film is officially submitted, it cannot be withdrawn. The Festival Director reserves the right to disqualify any film at their discretion.
• Copyright Responsibility: The filmmaker or producer assumes full legal responsibility for copyright clearances regarding music, scripts, and all other creative elements.
• Promotion Rights: AIFF reserves the right to use up to 10% of the footage from selected films for festival promotional purposes.
• Non-Screening Categories: Entries submitted under 'Non-Screening but in Award Competition' on FilmFreeway will be viewed by judges only and will not be screened publicly.
4. Technical & Submission Guidelines
• Platforms: Entries are accepted via FilmFreeway, Filmfestplatform, or Festhome.
• Film Requirements: All submitted films must be clean files, free of any watermarks or integrated advertisements.
